Wrapping It Up

Hello! I need to mail by package off for the HYCCT drive today, and here are my last two cards. This first one is for a Thanks Bunches challenge so of course I went with a bunch of flowers. I don't typically like a busy flower background, but I thought this fit right in with the bunches of flowers theme I had going.

 

My second card is for the Tag challenge. My mojo was off for this one. I tried to add a few things to the base card like a versamark or tone-on-tone pattern, but I just couldn't get anything to work for me. It happens like that some days. Here's to a fresh start tomorrow!

Happy Monday

Happy Monday, stampers! I played along with the Case this Sketch! challenge this week. I used the new Stampin' Up! Moonlight DSP stack and a few of the 2014-2016 In Colors, Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss. 

I really like all of the patterns of this little stack, and personally I like that it's already cut small for me. I'm a DSP hoarder. Making that first cut in a 12" x 12" sheet is awful for me. Silly, I know, but (gasp) what if I use it all up and have none. At the rate I use it, that won't happen for a very long time. Maybe I should make a challenge to myself to use more of it!

Me Time!

I got a box of goodies tonight, and put them to quick use! I'm pretty happy with how quickly this card came together for me. With a full-time job and family responsibilities, I don't get a lot of crafting time. I gave myself a break from the routine and vowed to get a few things accomplished tonight!

I thought the colors at Colour Q were a great choice for one of the Father's Day cards I needed to make, and the new layout at Fab Friday helped put me in the right direction.
